On Monday 19 March from 10.00 until 12.00 it’s the last session before Easter for the Digital Skills Drop In Sessions at Hackforth Village Hall organised jointly with Bedale U3A. So if you, or anyone you know, need support in using the internet or any other digital technology come along and experienced volunteers will help you. You don’t need to be a member of the U3A or live in Hackforth – all are welcome and for only £2 you’ll also get unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits and access to high speed broadband. The sessions will begin again when they are re-launched as “Monday Morning ChIT Chat” on Monday 9 April, same time same place, recognising that the social side of the sessions has become an important and very enjoyable aspect of them. IT support will still be available but if anyone just wants to come along for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit that’s fine too.
