Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside, Hackforth Village Hall is the friendly community hub for Hackforth and the surrounding area. Just a short drive from Bedale and within easy reach of the A1, the hall offers a warm and versatile space for all kinds of events — from local clubs, classes, and coffee mornings to weddings, parties, and meetings.
Run by dedicated volunteers, Hackforth Village Hall brings people together, supporting village life and providing a place where neighbours meet, friendships grow, and the community thrives. Whether you’re looking to host an event or simply join in with what’s happening locally, Hackforth Village Hall is at the heart of it all.

Large Hall
Our large hall is perfect for larger events of 50 or more people - we can fit up to 150 in the hall, with space for a stage, and a sprung floor (ideal for dances!).
Small Hall
Our more intimate small hall is perfect for groups up to 25 seated. This space is ideal for meetings, with a presentation screen and comfortable seating for deligates. This room also houses the bar, which can be hired as part of either the small or large hall hire.

About us
Our Charity
Hackforth Village hall is a charitable organisation, run by a group of trustees, nominated from local organisations. We're supported by our admisitration assistant, and a treasurer to ensure our charitable objectives are met.
The hall was set up to provide a place of physical and mental recreation, social, moral and intellectional development for the people of Hackforth, Hornby, Langthorne and the surrounding areas.
Our regular groups include; chIT Chat (digital skills), Table Tennis, Young Farmers Club, and Hackforth Parish Council.
